Horizon is a body transformation tracker operated by Horizon Health Tracker ("Horizon", "we", "us"). This notice explains what personal data we collect, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the rights you have. Horizon Health Tracker is the data controller for personal data processed through Horizon.
1. Data we collect
Account data: email address and authentication identifiers you provide when signing in.
Health and progress data: weight logs, body-fat estimates, waist measurements, calories, steps, protein, non-scale victories, goal weight, goal body fat, goal date, activity level, and measurement preferences. This information is stored locally on your device.
Product data: app settings, theme and background choices, XP and customisation points, achievements, and onboarding state. This is stored per account so your setup follows you across devices.
Payment data: if you subscribe to Horizon Pro, checkout and billing data (name, billing address, card details, tax identifiers, transaction history) is collected and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full card details.
Technical data: basic device, browser, and diagnostic information needed to run the service and investigate errors.
2. How we use your data and legal basis
We use your data to (a) provide and secure the service, (b) authenticate you and keep your account working across devices, (c) process subscription payments through Paddle, (d) respond to support requests, and (e) improve the product. The legal bases are performance of the contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, compliance with legal obligations (including tax and accounting), and your consent where required.
3. Who we share data with
Merchant of Record: Paddle.com Market Limited handles all payments, subscription billing, tax collection, invoicing, and refunds for Horizon Pro. Paddle's privacy notice is available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Service providers and subprocessors: hosting, authentication, database, and error-monitoring providers that operate the Horizon service on our behalf.
Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and tax advisers where necessary.
Authorities: where we are legally required to disclose information.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
5. Data retention
Account and subscription records are kept for as long as your account is active and for the period required by tax and accounting law after cancellation. Health and progress data stored locally on your device remains until you delete it, sign out, or clear app data. Support correspondence is retained for a reasonable period to handle follow-up requests.
6. Your rights
Subject to your local law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in section 9.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege administrative access — to protect personal data. Payment data is handled by Paddle under their own security programme. No online service is completely secure, so please also protect your account credentials.
8. Cookies
Horizon uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and remember your settings. Payment pages served by Paddle may set their own cookies described in Paddle's privacy notice.
